After working as a nurse and witnessing ramped unfair labor practices, NANDER set out to empower and advocate for healthcare workers. And her time as an ICU nurse, union organizer and advocate she found her mental health to be struggling and took to writing as an outlet. Her goal as an author is to feature healthcare-workers and other marginalized communities in an accurate way, teach them the basics of advocacy, and still provide a fun and provocative adventure and escapism for them. Her debut novel Opals & a Nimbus is the first installment in a series about magic, solidarity, love and mental health. She also looks forward to a tandem recipe book, and graphic novels highlighting important components to self advocacy.

NANDER, or Tammi, is a registered nurse from Florida who worked in ICU during the pandemic before leaving bedside to advocate for healthcare workers. She founded The Last Pizza Party (TLPP), an advocacy grassroots that aims to educate and empower healthcare workers with respect to unsafe and unfair labor practices within their occupation. Through this effort TLPP members such as herself have been actively involved in the support union campaigns, legislative and ballot initiative measures, and advocacy events. Her latest endeavor is incorporating experience and her passions for Social injustice into creative written works. 

The Last Pizza Party is a Healthcare Worker advocacy organization founded by Nurse Nander of TikTok in collaboration with other invested nurse advocates and TikTok creators. We promote solutions and break down barriers that prevent progress. We inspire, educate, and most importantly, lead. If the past two years has shown healthcare workers anything, it is that we cannot allow the health of our profession to be solely in the hands of administrators. We are also proudly partnered with Allied Up to launch a advocacy driven travel agency. Unlike other Travel agencies we work in the best interest of the workers, not to make profit for a few wealthy CEO's.
